Last April, Hitachi Capital Canada (HCC) entered a financing agreement with the buses manufacturer Girardin Blue Bird. Everyone at HCC is proud to collaborate with this star manufacturer from the province of Quebec.

Girardin Blue Bird manufactures and distributes commercial buses, school and town buses, and vehicles for paratransit passengers. Michel Labrie (Girardin Blue Bird) and Benoit St-Amand (HCC) are the account managers involved in this agreement.

About Girardin Blue Bird

For 60 years, Girardin Blue Bird has manufactured and distributed commercial buses, school and town buses, and vehicles for paratransit passengers. In 1958, the company began distributing school buses and in 1965, its home office was established in Drummondville (in the province of Quebec). The following year, the production of minibuses began and two years later, Girardin was granted an exclusive franchise licence for distributing Blue Bird buses chassis. In 2008, to better serve its clients, the company acquired Pearson Bus Sales, later renamed Girardin Ontario Inc.

Today, Girardin Blue Bird maintains a dominant position within the Quebec school buses market and is very well established into Eastern Canada distribution channels of new and used buses.
