Hitachi Capital Canada and CLE Capital are proud to contribute to FCEM's mission

It is natural for us, as a commercial financing company, to want to unite our efforts with those of our community.

For nearly a year, Hitachi Capital Canada (HCCC) and CLE Capital (CLE) have provided their support to the Fonds communautaire d'emprunt de la Mauricie (FCEM – www.fcem.qc.ca). Last year, thanks to the fund-raising efforts of our Community Action Committee (CAC), we were able to make a donation to this organization to support its project financing activities. We also assist the FCEM through the involvement of one of our employees in the activities of its funding application analysis committee.

The FCEM's July newsletter has just been released, and the news are great. In 2016-2017, 13 projects were granted funding, injecting $112,000 into the local economy. Additionally, the organisation entered into a partnership agreement with IDÉ Trois-Rivières to support social enterprises, coordinate the activities of Ruche Mauricie (a crowdfunding platform - www.laruchequebec.com) and analyze the projects emanating from the Fonds de développement des territoires (Ministère des affaires municipales et occupation du territoire). The FCEM also offers business start-up training (the next course starts September 26; visit the FCEM's website) and access to computer equipment, software tools and guidance.

It is natural for us, as a commercial financing company, to want to unite our efforts with those of the FCEM. This relationship matters greatly to HCCC and CLE. Emerging entrepreneurs who receive FCEM's support wish to play a part in making the local economy more vibrant, a cause worthy of being championed and fostered.

We therefore offer our heartfelt congratulations to the FCEM! The entire staff of HCCC and CLE hopes that 2017-2018 will fulfil your expectations and realize the potential of the entrepreneurs who enjoy your support.
